What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouseman position at Partner Industrial?
Partner Industrial currently has an opening for a in the Moving Department.
- Wage range is $15-$18/hr. with a work schedule.
Shifts are as follows:
- Monday and Thursday - 7:30AM to 4:00PM --------(8-hour shifts)
- Tuesday and Wednesday - 7:30AM to 8PM. ---------(12-hour shifts)
- OFF---Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
As a Warehouseman in the Moving Department, job duties may include moving, delivering, picking up, and installing new and used furniture to the satisfaction of the customer, planner or supervisor as requested.
- Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships at all levels.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently
- Ability to take ownership in all assigned duties and work with minimal supervision.
- Judgment and decision-making ability, critical thinking
- Understanding of workflow processes
- Willingness to work altered schedules or be reassigned to special interest projects as business needs require.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Attendance must be important.
- Must follow all safety protocols.
- Must be a strong team player with a good attitude.
- Ability to read floor plans and detailed installation drawings.
- Must be able to obtain a Partner driving license (MVR check) to operate a moving truck, daily. NO CDL required but must have an active, good-standing license.
- Fork truck experience preferred.
- Furniture installation experience preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
