Title : Business Systems Analyst

Our client is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to manage a diverse and complex suite of projects simultaneously. The successful candidate exhibits proficiency in taking initiative, attention to detail, communication (verbal and written communication), process orientation, data warehouse knowledge, teamwork, and accountability.
This is an operational support position. Local candidates only.
- Key Accountabilities : Responsible for intake of customer Extract File requests.
- Verifies that the requests received have the necessary documentation / approval.
- Enters data from the Extract File request into the request system.
- Responsible for balancing / verification / creating audit trail of Extract File requests.
- Performs UAT on extract platform as required.
- Reviews and resolves customer inquiries.
- Interacts with all internal and external partners across multiple related departments as needed.
- Documents specific customer issues (over / under payments, setup issues, etc.).
- Escalates setup and billing issues to appropriate levels of management.
- Coordinates with Senior, Lead, and Supervisor on resolution of invoice errors.
- Effectively resolves any issue as directed by Senior, Lead, and / or management.
- Identifies, tracks, reports trends, and escalates issues to appropriate levels of management.
- Performs other duties as required by management.
- Required Skills : At least 2-5 years of experience working within a Billing, Finance, or Operations department or in Information Technology.
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Understanding of self-funded billing, healthcare industry data, and data warehouse.
- Ability to think critically and resolve problems.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to succeed in a high-paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access.
- Proficient with Structured Query Language (SQL).
- Proficient with Big Query.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize activities.
- Healthcare industry data knowledge and familiarity with eligibility, medical claims, pharmacy claims, and lab results.
- Experience with the data warehouse.
