Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to clients in various settings, including nursing homes, hospice care, and private residences. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning and preparation.
• Monitor and record vital signs as needed, ensuring any changes are communicated to healthcare professionals.
• Provide patient observation to identify any changes in behavior or health status.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
• Assist individuals with dementia care and provide specialized support for those with autism.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, adhering to hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and patient observation techniques is advantageous.
• Ability to cook and prepare meals that meet dietary needs.
• Experience working with individuals with dementia or autism is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $12.25 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 36 per week

• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Morning shift
• Night shift
• Weekends as needed
