Key Info:
1. MUST be US Citizen, GC, EAD or OPT holder (please follow guidelines provided earlier on)
2. MUST have RPG & RPG-LE development experience on AS400, iSeries, iBMi environments.
3. Experience in Hawkeye and ARCAD development tools
4. Experience in PDM, SEU, RDi
5. Open to candidate that is willing to relocate to Lake Mary, FL
6. Candidate must be willing to attend in person interview onsite
RPG Developer – Lake Mary, FL
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with our client, a Fortune 100 company, reputable provider in integrated pharmacy benefit management, cost management as well as patient-care services.
12-month contract position with possibility of renewal. Position is based in Lake Mary, FL. Position is 100% onsite. Non-local candidates will also be considered. Shortlisted candidates must be willing to relocate and attend in person interview onsite. These requirements are non-negotiable.
Job Descriptions
Detail analysis, design, development, documentation, debugging and implementation of technical products, software programming applications. Recommends alterations and enhancements to improve quality of products and/or procedures.
• Work with IT and Business management to evaluate complex user requests, projects, and clarify objectives and functional requirements for new or modified computer programs.
• Determine feasibility, cost and time required, compatibility with current system, and system capabilities.
• Formulates detailed program specifications using structured analysis and design methodology. Prepare project documentation as required
• Work with functional architects to define and implement application architecture
• Code new or modified computer programs into existing systems and test program effectiveness. Evaluate error messages, modify codes and troubleshoot programming problems.
• Develop detailed application designs and specifications for computer applications.
• Perform analysis of systems issues or changes
• Write documentation describing program development, logic, coding, and corrections
• Participate in the development of user manuals and operating procedures
• Provide assistance to IT team members with issues needing technical expertise or systems and/or programming knowledge
Job Requirements
• Bachelor Degree in related fields
• 7 years of experience in RPG & RPG-LE development / coding in a AS/400, iSeries, IBMi environment
• Experience in Hawkeye and ARCAD development tools
• Experience in both the PDM and SEU "Green Screen" & the RDi Application Development Tools
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to acquire Subject Matter Expert level application knowledge
• Strong problem solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other Departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize work load and meet project deadlines
• Familiarity with health care industry or Supply Chain is added advantage
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate project deadlines
