What we are looking for:
Partner Forces is seeking a part-time, mid-level Accounting & Finance Consultant (1099) to support our corporate operations. This individual will provide hands-on support across the full accounting lifecycle, working directly with our internal team to ensure timely and accurate financial management. This is a flexible, remote, part-time 1099 consulting opportunity, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, growing small business environment supporting Federal clients.
What you will do as an Accounting & Finance Consultant:
- Set up projects and contracts within the PROCAS accounting system
- Manage and monitor employee timesheets and labor allocations
- Import transactions and properly code them to the chart of accounts
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger
- Generate and submit customer invoices
- Support monthly and year-end close processes
- Produce reports and financial statements for leadership review
- Assist with compliance and reporting requirements for Federal contractors
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with financial accounting systems (experience with PROCAS preferred)
- Solid understanding of government contracting accounting standards (FAR/DFARS knowledge a plus)
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a remote, part-time capacity
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred
