What are the responsibilities and job description for the Actuarial Intern - Non-Life Pricing Analytics position at PartnerRe?
The Internship program will be based out of our Stamford CT office. It is an 810 week program based on candidates availability. Hybrid work model Full time hours MF 9 : 00am 5 : 00pm with a onehour lunch break. Flexible start date from midMay to early June.

Your Role :
Learn fundamental concepts of insurance and reinsurance in Property & Casualty business
Handle Reinsurance pricing tools
Perform tasks related to data preparation formatting rework analysis and / or comparison
Work with the pricing actuaries on various projects involving manipulation of data sensitivity analysis and other actuarial assignments.
Qualifications : About you :
Currently enrolled in a bachelors or graduate degree program with a minimum GPA 3.0
Since the insurance industry offers complex dynamic and exciting positions we welcome candidates who have various majors backgrounds and experiences. We are most interested in students who are serious about entering the Insurance industry and those majoring in Mathematics Actuarial Science Statistics Risk Management or similar disciplines.
Keen to learn and pay attention to detail.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using Microsoft Excel
Strong organizational skills ability to prioritize and multitask
Strong work ethic and a desire to succeed
Highly collaborative and versatile with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Eligible candidates must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
