A dependable, detail-oriented, rockstar with Quality Control experience
When:
2nd shift: 2:00 p.m. - 10:30p.m., Monday through Friday night ($1 shift differential)

This position may be exposed to varying temperature changes, loud noises, and the handling of allergen ingredients, including wheat, milk, eggs, tree nuts, and sesame.
What you’ll be doing:
- Verify product safety and quality regarding raw ingredients, materials, finished goods, production equipment, and the overall facility and its operations
- Validate recipe guidelines and specifications to ensure production quality
- Keep consistent accurate records, support root cause analysis.
- Perform sanitation verification and allergen testing
- Enter alerts for nonconforming quality issues; quality control hold and defective material reporting, internal auditing.
- Handle complex documentation, data entry, and written communication
- Work with a variety of staff and departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure quality standards are upheld
- Responsible for verification of critical control points(CCP).
- Expert on food safety and GMP's.
- Support production team with tasks outside of the scope of Quality Control responsibilities.

- You have a positive attitude with a great sense of humor
- You care about your work and you always strive for quality
Education and Experience:
- Associates degree preferred.
- Critical thinking and evaluation skills, with a strong understanding of science and math
- Computer skills required, specifically MS Word, Excel, and data entry in web-based portals
- Experience in Quality control - Food manufacturing preferred
- Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) - preferred
