MISSION STATEMENT:
Partners Behavioral Healthcare finds and restores individuals struggling with substance use and mental health disorders.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Actively participate in clinical team meetings (virtual or on-site).
- Provide psychiatric consultation to the clinical team on diagnoses, treatment plans, and client progress.
- Offer guidance on therapeutic interventions, especially for complex cases.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure compliance with 245I standards and evidence-based mental health practices.
- Assist in the development and review of treatment strategies for clients with co-occurring disorders, mental health, and substance use disorders.
- Ensure psychiatric protocols meet state regulations and align with best practice standards.
- Provide education and supervision on psychiatric issues to clinical staff.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of psychiatric care, offering recommendations for improvement.
- Stay updated on psychiatric advancements and integrate them into the clinic's practices.
- Support staff with complex case consultations and guidance on mental health issues.
- Excellent written, communication, customer service, and listening skills.

- Knowledge of industry players and/or Addiction/mental health treatment & the territory.
- Self-starter with proven ability to work without close supervision and take initiative.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of program philosophy and policies and procedures, 245G, 245A, 245I, MDH and all other associated requirements, house operations, including client rights and confidentiality.
- Doctorate in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Clinical Psychologist in the state of Minnesota upon hire.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, psychometric assessments, and the treatment of co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
- Experience working in clinical settings, preferably with compliance to 245I standards or similar regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to maintaining ethical standards, client confidentiality, and professionalism in all client interactions.
- Attend any mandatory staff meetings and training courses.
- Remain up to date with all current PBH policies and procedures.
- Maintain licensure as a clinical psychologist in the state of Minnesota.
