We are seeking a skilled Controller who has experience working with a General Contracting firm, to oversee all financial aspects of our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, budget management, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.
**Duties:**
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Manage cash flow and forecasting & Prepare WIP Reports regularly
- Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making
- Oversee regulatory reporting and compliance
- Coordinate audits and ensure accurate tax filings
- Supervise accounting staff and provide guidance
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
- Proven experience as a Controller for a construction company or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Financial report writing, working with ProCore, Regulatory reporting, Governmental accounting, Public accounting, Technical accounting, General ledger reconciliation, Cash management, SOX compliance, Account analysis, General ledger accounting
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
