Responsibilities
- Greet clients and their pets upon arrival with warmth and professionalism.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic’s calendar efficiently.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about services offered.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
- Process payments and manage billing inquiries with attention to detail.
- Assist veterinary staff with administrative tasks as needed, including medication administration and patient intake.
- Ensure the front desk area is organized, clean, and welcoming for clients.
- Educate clients on proper pet care, medication administration, and follow-up procedures.
- Handle client concerns with empathy and professionalism, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal physiology, and basic animal husbandry practices is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with pet owners and team members.
- Proficiency in managing front desk operations, including scheduling software and payment processing systems.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in a busy environment.
- A passion for animal care, with experience in laboratory settings considered an asset.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays as needed.

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
