Location : Ontario, Ca (On-site)
Reports To : Payroll Manger
Schedule : 8 : 00a.m. - 5 : 00pm, Monday to Friday (all work on site)
Job Summary : This role is critical in ensuring accurate and timely processing of certified payroll for an average of 200 employees on a weekly basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of payroll processes, compliance regulations, and exceptional attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities :
Certified Payroll Processing :
- Accurately process certified payroll for approximately 200 employees weekly.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including the Davis-Bacon Act, prevailing wage laws, and other relevant labor laws.
- Verify proper classification of employees and job codes according to prevailing wage determinations.
- Calculate and administer prevailing wage rates, including base pay and fringe benefits.
- Adhere to overtime rules, calculating overtime pay based on the prevailing wage rate and including required premiums.
- Manage apprentice utilization requirements, if applicable, including proper wage rates and supervision.

Skills :
o Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations, including certified payroll requirements.
o Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

o Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
