Perform Daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
Take individuals to all their appointments medical and otherwise.
Hold regular team meetings and inform Quality Manager of all issues.
Maintain individual's activity schedules.
Create and maintain emergency procedures, drills for emergencies, and incident reports.
Maintain the home of apartment.
Maintain the individual's finances ie: pay all bills and reconcile bank statements.
Implement and ensure all staff are following company, state and federal policies and procedures.
Initiate training for all staff.
Advocate for the individuals and their rights.
The Home Guidance Manager role is a position in which the HGM is responsible for a great deal of obligations. The HGM is the direct link for all tasks, activities, appointments, care and feeding of the individual and the maintenance of their homes.
This position oversees other employees to assure every item is taken care of for the individuals.
They are also responsible for communicating with their behaviorists, doctors, case managers, guardians, day program, and any other individuals who contribute to the individuals' quality of life.
The HGM's first responsibility is to the individuals and ensuring their quality of life.
