Job Description:
Lupine Properties is a construction and development company specializing in commercial and retail office building, remodeling, tenant improvements, and facility maintenance.

This Skilled Laborer role will support Lupine's corporate location in East Pasadena, CA.
Schedule - Monday - Friday business hours
Ability to drive to client locations in the area may be requested for support. Must have valid CA drivers license.
General Summary:
Skilled Laborers will perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. May operate hand and power tools of all types. Laborers will work directly with tradesmen and will assist them in their fields such as carpentry, plumbing, electricity, etc.
Essential Functions include, but are not limited to the following:*
- Operating those devices that are used to build out commercial tenant improvements.
- Cleaning and disposing of materials on construction sites;
- Transporting, loading and unloading different materials to the places they are required to get dumped.
- Carrying out the repair of wrecked structures by using tools both to build and deconstruct buildings.
- Helping to install electrical, plumbing, heating, cooling systems inside a building.
- Ordering for supplies and installing materials.
- Help with the installation of sewer, water, and storm drain pipes by using pipe-laying machinery and other equipment like laser guidance equipment.
- Measuring, marking, and recording of distances to have an idea of the layout of areas where construction work will be performed.
- Carpentry such as rough framing, wood and metal stud, installing premium cabinets, installing doors and hardware, hanging dry wall, etc.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong oral and written English communication skills; Spanish is a plus
- Positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure
- Able to work flexible schedule, including occasional nights and weekends
- Professional appearance
- Own an insured and reliable vehicle
- Own basic tools for plumbing, electrical and light construction
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma, required
- 2 years of previous construction experience, in either a commercial or residential setting
