Positions Available: Part-Time Warehouse Worker
Pay Rates: $16.00
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Shift: 1st Shift

Hours: 6:00am - 10am (*up to 2pm during peak season)

Job Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare mattresses and accessories for shipment based on customer orders.
• Load and unload mattresses from trucks using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
• Conduct inventory counts and assist with physical inventory as needed.
• Operate sit down, stand up and reach truck forklifts
• Operate pallet jacks, dollies, and other warehouse equipment to move products efficiently.
• Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to manage inventory and track shipments in real-time
• Utilize RF scanners to verify and track inbound and outbound shipments.
• Perform cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies using ERP systems like Oracle or SAP.
• Process incoming shipments and verify product accuracy against orders; prepare outgoing shipments with proper labels and packaging
• Assist in the assembly process.
• Operate baling machines to compress and bind used or damaged mattresses for disposal or recycling
• Prepare and feed mattresses into the baler, ensuring proper alignment and handling to avoid machine jams or malfunctions.

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years’ warehouse experience
• Forklift and Reach Truck experience a plus
• Must have experience using an RF Scanner
• Ability to lift and move up to 55 lbs and stand for prolong periods of time.
