Job Title: Customer Service Support Specialist
General Summary: The role of the Customer Service Support Specialist is to assist the Customer Service Team by providing support through call management and answering inquiries in an office setting. This position involves ongoing communication with management regarding trends, issues, and troubleshooting, with an emphasis on assisting during busy periods by handling customer service calls.
Essential Job Functions:
- Learn and utilize various patient accounting systems to assist staff in resolving questions and obtaining payments on assigned accounts.
- Act as the primary resource for staff inquiries, and account-related issues, and provide coaching to enhance team productivity.
- Communicate with management regarding any trends or recurring issues noticed through staff interactions or customer queries.
- Provide phone coverage when necessary, such as during backlog or staff shortages.
- Offer feedback to management during performance reviews of Customer Service Representatives (CSR).
- Run and analyze reports for client account cleanup as directed by management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficient in using Microsoft Windows (Windows 10), and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and email).
- Ability to quickly learn and work with multiple client computer systems.
- Strong command of the English language, both oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and follow instructions with minimal supervision.
Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
