Job Overview :

The Cycle Count High Reach Operator is responsible for performing cycle counting activities in a warehouse or distribution center, ensuring that inventory levels are accurate and that stock discrepancies are identified and resolved. The role involves operating high-reach forklifts to retrieve inventory and utilizing Excel to track and report on inventory counts, discrepancies, and adjustments.

Key Responsibilities :

Cycle Counting :

Perform regular cycle counts of inventory in accordance with company procedures and schedules.

• Identify and investigate discrepancies between physical inventory counts and system records.
• Work closely with inventory control and warehouse teams to reconcile any discrepancies and ensure proper stock levels.

High Reach Forklift Operation :

Operate high-reach forklifts to access and count inventory located in high racks or elevated storage areas.

Inventory Tracking and Documentation :

Accurately record cycle count results in Excel and inventory management systems.

Collaboration and Communication :

Communicate with warehouse, shipping, and receiving teams to ensure accurate counts and reporting of inventory.

Inventory Auditing :

Assist in periodic physical inventory audits and reconciliation activities as required.

System and Data Management :

Utilize Excel to manage and analyze inventory data, including creating reports, pivot tables, and charts.

Safety Compliance :

Follow all warehouse safety protocols when using high-reach forklifts and other equipment.
