Job Description :

A well-established trucking company in Ontario, CA is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Estimator to join their team. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for evaluating and estimating the costs for various transportation and freight services. You will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to provide accurate cost assessments for projects, ensuring the company's competitive pricing while maintaining profitability.

Key Responsibilities :

• Cost Estimation : Evaluate and estimate the cost of transportation services, including freight, labor, equipment, and other associated expenses.
• Client Interaction : Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide them with detailed estimates, options, and advice regarding pricing and services.
• Data Analysis : Analyze historical data, trends, and market conditions to create accurate and competitive cost projections.
• Collaboration : Work closely with dispatchers, drivers, and other departments to ensure estimates align with operational capabilities and real-time costs.
• Bid Preparation : Prepare and submit cost proposals and bids for potential clients, ensuring timely responses to requests for proposals (RFPs).
• Documentation : Maintain accurate records of estimates, proposals, and related communications for future reference.
• Contract Review : Review and assess contracts to ensure pricing structures are consistent with company standards.
• Cost Optimization : Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency in estimating and pricing.
