Duties
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with company goals.
- Manage logistics operations, ensuring timely delivery of products while minimizing costs.
- Oversee inventory control processes to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce excess inventory.
- Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain.
- Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to forecast demand and manage production schedules.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination across departments.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate contracts and ensure quality standards are met.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations and reduce waste.
- Maintains required quantity of supplies and materials to optimize production.
- Negotiates prices for raw material and delivery with suppliers, vendors, and / or shipping companies.
- Monitors the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; identifies and qualifies new suppliers in collaboration with other departments.
