About The Role
P4K is seeking a College and Career Case Manager. This AmeriCorps Service Member will complete an 11-month assignment to complete 450 hours with a biweekly living allowance valued at approximately $409.00. The start date for this position in August 2025. The position will provide personalized college and career advising and academic retention support to P4K students to increase academic program persistence, graduation rates, and career readiness. College and Career Case Managers build relationships with students, offering guidance, encouragement, and resources as P4K students approach their high school graduation. From college scholarship assistance to navigating financial aid and internship opportunities, Case Managers ensure students have the tools and knowledge they need to succeed.
P4K’s AmeriCorps programming emphasizes professional development of its Members. Through quarterly trainings and hands-on experience, Members gain valuable skills in leadership, communication, and problem-solving, preparing them for future careers in education, social services, and beyond.

Responsibilities
- Provide case management and interventions to promote student success
- Coordinate college and career experiences
- Connect students to scholarships, tutoring, financial aid, and resources to support educational attainment
- Assist with student transportation and connection with community resources as needed
- At least two years of college credits or the equivalent of an associate’s degree
- High school diploma
- Hold one of the following citizenship or legal residency statuses: US citizen, US National, Lawful Permanent Resident (i.e., Green Card status), and persons legally residing within a state.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Proven ability to build positive relationships with diverse populations
- The completion of two or more years of postsecondary education?
- Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills (fluency in English)?
- Strong time management skills and ability to manage a flexible schedule?
- Daily access to a reliable vehicle with a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record?
- Availability to work in-person at Omaha Public School sites or the downtown P4K office primarily between the hours of 2:00pm and 5:00pm Monday through Friday.?
- Uniforms provided and required.
- Biweekly Living Allowance of approximately $409.00 amounting to a total of $9,000.00 throughout your term of service.
