We are seeking a Senior Quality Inspector with intention to train into Quality Manager role.
Job Objective:
To insure all items manufactured by the company and supplied to our customers meet the quality requirements and specifications set forth by the customer, and to maintain and supply all required quality and regulatory supporting documents.
To insure all processes and procedures of the company are performed and maintained to produce quality products in the most efficient manner possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain quality assurance standards by reviewing customer quality requirements and maintaining prints and revision control.
- Insure customer satisfaction by professionally handling customer quality issues.
- Maintain the company quality manual, procedures, and work instruction per company and regulatory requirements.
- Insure products and procedures meet recognized quality standards and specifications
- Develop and maintain inspection planning procedures, 1st article reports, inspection sheets, gaging requirements, and customer quality records.
- Maintain, coordinate and insure incoming inspection, in process inspection, outside processing inspection, and final inspection on all products.
- Insure all material and outside process vendors meet the required quality standards.
- Maintain and insure gage calibration, maintenance, and storage.
- Perform quality audits on products and processes per requirements.
- Management Representative for all ISO requirements.
- Coordinate with tooling personnel to insure tools, fixtures and gages are capable of producing products that meet customer standards.
- Coordinate with production personnel to insure quality standards are being maintained
- Supervise, evaluate, and motivate quality employees to insure all quality standards, and customer service standards are met.
- Ensure assignments are being completed and quality employees are tracking time on work order, maintenance, and production job sheets.
- Insure housekeeping requirements are maintained per company standards
- Maintain a working knowledge of new technologies which may improve operations and present recommendations accordingly.
- Ordering or designating the ordering of all necessary supplies to ensure smooth quality department operation.
- Responsible for presenting annual goals to support quality department and company goals.
- Responsible for developing, continually improving and maintaining all manufacturing processes and procedures within the company.
- Responsible for insuring all operations and procedures within the company produce quality output and are being performed as efficiently as possible.
- Performs all other work related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years experience with fabrication industries.
- Minimum of 7 years experience with ISO quality standards.
- Minimum of 2 years supervisory and or management experience.
- Full understanding of dimensioning and tolerancing (ref. ASME Y 14.5m-1994)
- Capable of understanding and maintaining metrology per Company requirements.
- Capable of gage calibration and functional gage design
- Strong communication and writing ability in team based environment.
- Proven above average organizational, time management and interpersonal skills.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office with emphasis on Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Understand manufacturing and quality processes that relate to the industry.

Pay: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour
