Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Auditor to join the team of a rapidly growing not for profit in Philadelphia! The company is very mission focused and is seeking a like minded individual! Onsite to start, with hybrid after 3 months.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and evaluate internal controls
- Preparation of financial schedules, compilations, reconciliations, general ledger/trial balance analysis
- Assist with the coordination of the day-to-day duties of planning, fieldwork and wrap-up of audit engagements
- Deep understanding of accounting and reporting standards
- Meet time constraints and deadlines related to audit engagements
- Perform other general accounting and finance department functions as needed
Qualifications
- BA/BS in Finance or Accounting is required
- Experience grant/government accounting in the non profit space
- Strong accounting background/knowledge; 3-5 years of public accounting firm experience a plus
- Must be Excel proficient (V-lookups, Pivot Tables, Formulas)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
