Job Overview
We’re looking for a dedicated patient coordinator to answer high volume calls to join our team! This position is within a large and prominent health care organization where advancement is not only possible, but probable for the right hardworking and dedicated candidate. As the first point of contact, you’ll provide exceptional customer service, assist with inquiries, and resolve issues as well as coordinate appointments, referrals and other medical requests. Experience in a call center, medical office environment, or EPIC software is preferred.
This is an on site only (no remote or hybrid), full time, first shift (8:30-5pm) position with the potential for overtime.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing patience needs efficiently and with empathy and professionalism.
- Utilize medical terminology to assist clients in understanding their healthcare needs.
- Communicate effectively with customers over the phone.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately to maintain up-to-date customer records.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette while managing high call volumes.
Requirements
- Call Center Experience
- Experience in a medical office setting
- EPIC is a plus!
- Proven experience in customer service.
- Proficient in computer usage and data entry
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers.
- Strong organizational skills to assess situations and provide appropriate solutions.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
