What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Analyst position at Partnership Employment?
Partnership Employment has partnered with a growing company in Houston, TX in the Oil & Gas industry and we are looking to fill 2 contract roles immediately in the Production Analyst Accounting space. These roles are solely contract for 3-4 months and pay between $38-$42/hr. Fully onsite 5 days a week with flexible hours on Friday.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze well test, downtime, run tickets vs statements, daily gas entries vs statements and resolve any issues
• Production entry into P2 Merrick software & data uploads
• Set up and maintain new wells & equipment in production software
• Develop, implement and maintain procedures for Production Accounting processes
• Effectively work with Revenue Accounting and Marketing Accounting to ensure all issues or discrepancies are resolved
• Reconcile sales to purchaser / transporter statements
• Input gas gatherer / transporter data and monthly sales volumes
• Run, verify and analyze monthly allocations
• Prepare State/Federal Regulatory Reports
Qualifications:
• A minimum of 2 years oil & gas production accounting experience
• Demonstrated ability to research, develop, and implement oil/gas production-related projects/issues
• Demonstrate work experience and ability to research and reconcile discrepancies
• Demonstrate work experience and knowledge in production accounting and production reporting
• Demonstrated work experience and proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel and Word
• Prior work experience and knowledge of ProCount/Carte software Skills/ Attributes Desired
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize projects in order to meet established deadlines
Salary : $38 - $42
