Overview
The EDI Application Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration,maintenance, and support of EDI software applications within the organization. This role ensuresthe optimal performance, availability, and security of applications to meet business needs anduser requirements.
Responsibilities
• Installs, configures, and updates software applications based on business requirements andvendor recommendations.• Ensures proper integration of applications with existing systems and databases.• Monitors application performance and availability, troubleshooting issues and ensuringtimely resolution.• Performs routine maintenance tasks, such as applying patches, updates, and upgrades toapplications.• Collaborates with vendors for technical support, issue resolution, and updates.• Manages user accounts, access permissions, and configurations within applications.• Provides technical support and training to end-users on application functionality and usage.• Creates and maintains user documentation and training materials.• Implements security measures to protect application data and ensure compliance withorganizational policies and industry regulations.• Conducts regular audits and assessments to ensure applications meet security and compliancestandards.• Develops and implements backup and recovery procedures for application data.• Tests backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity and availability.• Communicates with software vendors regarding application issues, updates, andenhancements.• Collaborates with internal stakeholders, including IT teams and business units, to understandapplication requirements and resolve issues.
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities• Evaluates and recommends new software applications or upgrades to enhance organizationalefficiency and effectiveness.• Participates in IT projects, such as application migrations, integrations, and enhancements.• Documents application configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for referenceand training purposes.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, orrelated field; or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 4 years ofexperience in administering and supporting software applications in acorporate environment. Proficiency in installing, configuring, andmaintaining applications on various platforms (e.g., Windows, Linux).Strong understanding of application deployment methodologies,including cloud-based solutions. Experience with applicationmonitoring tools and performance optimization. Knowledge of ITsecurity principles and practices related to application management.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-orientedenvironment.
Special Skills, Licenses and Certifications
Familiarity with Edifecs products or related technologies (preferred).Familiarity with database management systems and SQL (preferred)

Work Environment And Physical Demands
More than 80% of work time is spent in front of a computer monitor.May be required to lift, carry, or move equipment of varying size,weighing up to 50 lbs. May be required to bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, orwork in other non-standing and non-sitting positions to installcabling, systems hardware, and other related equipment.

HIRING RANGE:
$118,518.94 - $154,074.63
