Nature of Work:
- The Manager, Partnership Strategy will be responsible for building strategies, capabilities, systems, and processes needed to deliver bottom-line results in support of the Partnership Marketing & Media Sales Department and its revenue goals.
- Works closely with the Sales & Activation Teams on building a positive culture within the department, emphasizing relationships, revenue and rewards with our colleagues, clients and throughout KSE.
Examples of work performed:
- Support the department’s Sales Team on identifying sales targets via category mining, developing brand briefs and partnership proposals
- Serve as the department expert on league trends, new/existing partnership asset inventory and opportunities to generate new business and incremental revenue to the department
- Focus on developing and packaging innovative, sellable marketing platforms with a focus on new business prospects
- Proactively develop, review, edit and jointly pitch sponsorship proposals
- Perform research, financial modeling, industry benchmarking and analysis to inform business decisions
- Leverage analytics and audience insights to support the Sales Team throughout the sales process
- Work alongside League Office representatives to gain insight on league best practices, category analysis and new business opportunities

Qualifications
Minimum
- Two to four years’ experience in the sports/entertainment industry, consultancy, or related fields
- Driver’s License
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Business, Sports Marketing and/or Sports Management degree preferred
- Master’s degree a plus
Competencies/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to write clearly and effectively, with solid interpersonal, verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to break down and tackle problems through quantitative thinking and analysis
- Possesses a solid understanding of the sales process and a strong general sales competence, as well as outstanding relationship development skills
- Creative and organized with the ability to multi-task and problem solve in a fast-paced work environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point requiredProficiency in Sportsdigita & KORE-CRM proficiency preferred
Compensation
- Base Salary: $60,000
- Eligible for annual discretionary bonus plan
