General Position Summary :
Responsible for providing program partners with strong support service along with solid project planning capabilities in the Native American communities we work in. Provide overall direction and planning for a range of programs designed to support and further PWNA’s mission to improve the quality of life on American Indian reservations. Ensure the smooth execution of programs that are responsive to the needs of the people served. Oversee the development of partnerships with reservation service providers.
Essential Functions :
- Work cooperatively and closely with PDCs handling program partner problems or concerns.
- Monthly positive communication with program partners. Email, letters, etc.
- Follow up on late reports from program partners.
- Travel
- Strong education skills
- Provide good information to the Program Partner web site
- Contact program partner for follow-up after delivery—7 day calls.
- Follow up on reports of program partners not following PWNA guidelines.
- Record data from program partners – measurable indicators and feedback.
- Coordinates all field trips along with outreach program coordinator.
- Makes follow-up calls to program partners when reports are due or information is needed, increases timely follow-up.
- Reviews reports
- Works with program partners and assists with the development of incentive programs and providing program information to new program partners.
- Oversee the training of all new employees and continued training of all current employees.
- Ensure that all programs are reviewed and revised according to the PWNA program development format annually. Amend programs more regularly as necessary changes are identified by staff.
- Ensure that all program staff are well versed in the development, guidelines and structure of each program offered through the office.
- Ensure that all programs are executed according to established guidelines.
- Develop new services according to the PWNA development format as new needs arise.
- Give strategic direction to Outreach and staff on where to focus their efforts to ensure we are touching the areas of greatest need and being mindful of efficiency in distribution.
- Monitor accountability.
- Monitor spending. Keep costs down without compromising services
- Oversee the recruitment and management of our volunteer force to ensure volunteers are continuously contributing to our programs.
- Promote our services.
- Ensure that all fundraising requirements are met.
- Work cooperatively with the program information specialist to gather information needed by the fund-raising departments of PWNA.
