Partnerships for People, Inc. is seeking an Associate Director of Intellectual Disabilities to join in the mission of partnering with people with disabilities to help build relationships and develop skills to live and work as valued members of their community. This position is based out of our office located in Clark, New Jersey.
The Associate Director actively manages assigned services, efficiently carrying out top-down directives, as well as, proactively identifying and responding to local issues. This position engages employees and stakeholders to ensure advocacy for all individuals served is front-and center at all levels. This position is responsible for all administrative and managerial aspects of services within assigned area and assures that quality services are provided consistent with the mission and values of the organization and in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations and licensing standards.
- Assists in the development and implementation of division goals and objectives.
- Engages with Counties and State, fostering positive relationships, collaborating on local policy and programmatic developments and ensuring performance expectations are met.
- Prepares program reports and statistical data as required.
- Monitors all Keystone Performance Indicators (KPI’s) plans and triages resources accordingly to maintain or improve performance.
- Assists with the assessment of referrals to evaluate appropriateness of placements.
- Collaborates with clinical team regarding the treatment process to include assessment, development of Individual Support Plans and monthly reports.
- Provides direction to employees that encourages them to teach people the necessary skills which allow those served to become less dependent on the formal delivery of services.
- Responsible for coordinating and managing incident reporting and investigatory procedures and maintaining compliance with all State and County polices related to incident management.
- Maintains an effective, responsible, and productive working relationship with supervisor, peers, and subordinates.
- Facilitates the timely and effective communication of relevant information with appropriate personnel through vertical and horizontal teams within the Division and across the organization.
- Provides active visibility and engagement within the Division (i.e. visit programs and attend team meetings on a regular basis)
- Engages with and takes an active interest in Individuals we support, employees and the Division.
- Provides leadership and actively participates in all Division Leadership and Management meetings, including adherence to set agenda, follow-through of action items and skilled direction and empowerment of all participants.
- Oversees direct reports to ensure fiscal responsibility in the programs.
- Monitors hour reports for the Division to ensure adherence to the budgeted hours.
- Assists in the preparation and monitoring of the annual budgets, capital expenditures and program contracts.
- Ensures that financial resources are adequately utilized.
- Monitors staff overtime and time off to ensure that program needs are met within budgetary guidelines.
- Associate’s degree or 60 credit hours from accredited college or university; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Ten (10) years of experience working directly with persons with intellectual disabilities or related field. Five (5) years of progressive ID experience required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience.
- Ability to communicate both orally and in writing and to be able to read, interpret and apply written information.
- Ability to learn and apply intermediate computer skills, including the use of software and other web-based systems.
- Ability to pass required background checks and clearances.
- Valid driver’s license and daily access to privately maintained and insured vehicle.
- Salary range - $75,000 - $80,000

Salary : $75,000 - $80,000
