What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1st Grade Teacher - PUC Community Charter Elementary School position at Partnerships to Uplift Communities (PUC) Schools?
Partnerships to Uplift Communities (PUC) Schools is comprised of a non-profit network of public charter schools designed to significantly increase high school graduation rates, college entrance, and college graduation rates for underserved students in North-East Los Angeles, and the North-East San Fernando Valley.

Education:
-Possession of a valid Preliminary or Clear Single Subject or Multiple Subject Credential OR
-University Internship Credential eligible (Intern eligibility letter required) OR
-Qualification for a permit if the applicant does not possess a credential is required. PUC Schools can further advise on qualifications after an application has been submitted
-Satisfy Basic Skills Requirement (met through coursework and/or passing scores on standardized tests i.e., CBEST, SAT, ACT, etc.)
Experience:
-Solid knowledge of the subject matter, including California State Standards and subject-specific frameworks and assessments
Salary : $65,000 - $115,669
