What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Equipment Technician position at Parts ASAP?
H&R Construction Equipment Parts in Buffalo, NY is looking for a creative, passionate, and driven individual to work as a Construction Equipment Technician.
What will I do?
Disassembly of off-road construction equipment
Cleaning, tagging and logging of parts in accordance with company procedures
Taking pictures of parts
Transferring parts to the proper storage area
What's required from me?
Mechanic knowledge, preferably in heavy machinery
Experience with construction equipment, preferred
Ability to operate a Forklift and Crane
Ability to understand the layout of machine and engine assemblies
Ability to multi-task and use multiple tools
Basic mechanic tools are required to have
High School or Equivalent
Certified Forklift Operator Certificate, helpful
Lift 50 to 100 lbs.
90% standing and 10% sitting
