Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a key member of our sales floor, you will be responsible for generating sales while providing outstanding customer service and building relationships with customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet and acknowledge all customers as they enter the retail store.
- Assist customers with product selections and locating merchandise.
- Operate a computerized point of sale system with ability to complete all types of transactions (cash, credit, check on accounts and refunds).
- Handle incoming phone calls in a professional manner.
- Assist in merchandising and display maintenance of store stock.
- Assist in the replenishment of merchandise and monitoring of store stock.
- Establish effective working relationships with team members in other departments.
- Participate in special events and promotions.
- Any other duties required.
Requirements
- Knowledge of basic electronics, audio systems, and speakers for home, pro, and car audio required.
- Some retail experience preferred.
- Basic reading, writing and math skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills required.
- Working knowledge of a computerized point of sale system.
