Auto Parts Delivery Driver
We are a local Michigan owned auto parts company looking for a responsible Delivery Driver to distribute auto parts promptly and safely to our customers.
This position does include general stocking within the warehouse, putting away orders that are returned, and occasionally assisting in cycle counts of inventory within the warehouse.
Delivery positions, are part time and year-round. This is not a seasonal or temporary position.
Position days are Monday to Friday.
Morning Shift 8AM-1PM
May include rotating Saturday's 8AM to 1PM.
Responsibilities
- Drive a company vehicle with fuel card in a safe manner
- Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a company delivery vehicle
- Collect and write return slips for customer's return
- Follow local road laws and regulations
- Assist in shelving returned orders
Skills
- Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver (preferred but not necessary)
- Valid driver’s license (No CDL/Chauffeurs License necessary)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good driving record with no major traffic violations
- Driver's license for over 3 years
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.75 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
