The Job at a Glance
We’re looking to add someone to our Parts Town Unlimited team who’s ready to dig into data, crack the code on complex problems, and make a real impact. In this role, you’ll partner with teams across the organization to uncover insights, optimize operations, and create strategies that help us stay ahead of the curve. You will specifically partner with supply chain leaders to leverage data analytics and insights, utilizing tools such as SEO and web search trends to inform strategy. Think of yourself as part detective, part storyteller—you’ll analyze big data, find hidden trends, and turn your findings into actionable strategies that you’ll share for everyone to understand.
- Dive into massive data sets using Excel, SQL, and Power BI, and make them sing. Turn numbers into narratives and share those stories with teams across the company.
- Contribute to a variety of cool initiatives, like reimagining our supply chain network, developing savvy pricing strategies, and exploring untapped markets.
- Stay ahead of the game by digging into industry trends, market opportunities, and competitor dynamics. Create reports and presentations that dazzle diverse audience—from individual contributors to executive leadership.
- Roll up your sleeves with our supply chain team to tackle everything from transportation performance to inventory flow. Use tools like LLamasoft to help us work smarter, not harder.
- Collaborate with finance, sales, operations, and other teams to make sure everyone’s rowing in the same direction. You’ll be the glue that keeps cross-functional projects moving.
- Craft data-driven reports, presentations, and materials that bring your insights to life for our leadership team.
- Utilize data insights to drive decisions that foster collaboration and strengthen our sense of community, ensuring our growth supports both our teams and the people we serve.
- You have 3 - 6 years in consulting, supply chain analytics, financial analysis, or a related field. Bonus points for experience with distribution organizations or tools like LLamasoft, SAP, or Oracle.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Finance, or a similar field is a plus.
- You’re a whiz with Excel, SQL, and Power BI, and if you know your way around market research tools, even better.
- You can take complex ideas and explain them like a pro - whether you’re writing or speaking and present to individuals in various roles.
- You’re not just about crunching numbers; you know how to ask the right questions and come up with creative solutions.
- You bring energy, hustle, and a team-first attitude to everything you do.
