Role Overview:
In this dual-focused role, you'll be responsible for both outbound sales and customer relationship management. You'll leverage your strong sales background to qualify leads, identify cross-selling opportunities, and secure repeat business from previous customers. Your efforts will directly contribute to increasing account revenue and fostering robust customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Outbound Sales & Lead Qualification:
- Make a minimum of 70 outbound calls daily to previous customers, turning inquiries into sales opportunities.
- Engage in exploratory conversations to pitch our products.
- Drive sales growth by identifying and capitalizing on cross-selling opportunities.
- Account Management & Customer Support:
- Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, and text, ensuring timely and accurate support.
- Process orders and manage complex questions regarding shipments and potential backorders using our order system.
- Provide dedicated service and technical support, helping customers understand our products, campaigns, and business practices.
- Relationship Building:
- Cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent, high-quality interactions.
- Work collaboratively with the Sales Supervisor to ensure customer engagement and satisfaction.
- Administrative & Technical Duties:
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of company products and services.
- Utilize Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) to efficiently manage workflow and track customer interactions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience in a retail or online environment, ideally with cold calling or appointment setting experience.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and active listening skills.
- Strong phone etiquette and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- High school diploma or GED required; experience with schematics, blueprints, or technical sectors is a plus, but not mandatory.
Compensation:
- Base salary ranging from $30K to $32K per year, plus commission.
