We are seeking an industry-experienced, driven candidate to join our team as a route sales rep/merchandiser, servicing supermarket accounts consisting of travel to 5 daily routes, servicing 45 customer accounts weekly.
Candidates must be centrally located in territory for consideration.
- Route 1 Palm Beach Gardens/West Palm - 8 stores
- Route 2 Royal Palm/Wellington - 10 Stores
- Route 3 West Palm/Green Acres - 9 Stores
- Route 4 Lake Worth/Boynton Beach - 10 Stores
- Route 5 Boynton Beach Delray - 10 stores
Typical Schedule is Monday-Friday. This position is 100% on the road (450 to 500 miles weekly). Early morning start time around 4am.
Must have:
- Grocery Related Experience - 2 Years
- Merchandising Experience - 2 years
- Route Sales Rep Experience - 2 years
Job Details and Responsibilities:
- Covering routes each day based on the schedule provided
- Early morning start time is necessary around 4am, arriving at first store by 5am
- Service all accounts on the route recovering invoices, merchandising product, and ordering for the following visit
- Maintain Company inventory levels and merchandising standards, executing all direction given by the Company
- Keeping stores clean, and properly communicating all store level issues to your manager for direction
- Communicate with the corporate office at days end to reconcile invoices/orders
- Surveying stores for seasonal displays and setting up shippers
- Coordinating planogram changes at stores typically once a year is common bringing in new items and removing old
- Setting new stores and resetting stores that undergo remodels
Qualifications/Expectations:
- The necessary experience listed above
- Dependable with regular attendance
- Must have a clean driving record, pass a drug test, background check
- Full-time position typically from Monday through Friday.
Physical Requirements:
- Continually – required to stand, walk, sit, talk, hear
- Continually – required to utilize hand and finger dexterity
- Continually – required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl
- Continually – required to lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds
- Continually – exposure to outside weather conditions
- Continually – required to drive company vehicle throughout course of day in between stops, and to and from your home. Drive times, depending on location of route, can be as little as a few minutes, or as many as several hours.
