Canton Chair Rental / Party Savvy, Stark County’s leader in the event rental industry, seeks a Linen and Dish Processor to join our team. In this role, you will ensure the impeccable cleanliness and sanitation of our inventory, contributing to our commitment to deliver high-end, quality products to our clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Wash, press, inspect, and package linens, drapery, china, flatware, glassware, and food/beverage rental equipment to ensure each item is ready for the next rental.
- Utilize machine-based and manual cleaning methods to maintain high standards of cleanliness and quality.
- Organize and pack equipment/items in accordance with company standards and meet production targets set by management.
- Pull orders from stock and accurately check in returned items.
- Assist customers with loading and unloading rental items and support off-site event setups and teardowns.
- Maintain and organize the linen and dish storage areas, ensuring items are properly sorted and stored.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork.
- Perform daily cleaning tasks, including offices, restrooms, breakroom, and showroom, to ensure a clean work environment.
- Operate washing equipment with care and precision while adhering to company safety and sanitation policies.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- Flexible shift times and days available—suitable for both part-time and full-time hours.
- Overtime opportunities available during peak season.
- Final schedules are determined collaboratively with management.
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Possession of a valid Ohio driver’s license is a plus. If you do have a license, you must meet our company insurance requirements.
- Proficiency in the English language (written and verbal).
- Basic math skills, including understanding fractions, percentages, and ratios.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Capability to interpret various forms of instruction.
- Must be able to stand and lift for up to 12 hours a day in a warehouse setting.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifts up to 75 pounds.
- Occasional assistance with event setup, teardown, delivery, and pickup.
- Willingness to be cross-trained in other departments.
- Pass a company background check and drug screening.
