Lead Sign Installer / Service Technician

Parvin-Clauss Sign Company, a fast-growing, family-owned business based in Carol Stream, Illinois, is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and detail-oriented individual to join its installation team.

We are looking for a well-qualified and experienced installer who are ready to move up in their career. We want to put the technical knowledge and skills you’ve acquired over the years into a lead role at Parvin-Clauss Sign Co. As a lead installer, you’ll oversee a small team to make sure jobs are completed correctly, efficiently and safely. You will assist in training other installers on the proper installation and service techniques. Our installation team provides sign installation and repair services in the Chicagoland area. Ideal candidates for this position will possess a solid work ethic and the following attributes:

• Demonstrates the ability to train and lead technicians on proper signage service and installation procedures
• Able to review with onsite contacts (customers) about the project at hand and needed requirements
• Ability to review all required safety requirements and ensure the installers and sites are safe to install
• Willingness to work outdoors and off hours in all seasons
• Self-motivated individual who can stay on task without direct supervision
• Knowledge -use of fall protection when working in heights over 6 feet

• Ability to interpret drawings
• Mechanical aptitude
• Works well with others
• Good communication skills and a customer service mentality
• Licensed to operate Class C non-CDL trucks
• Ability to:
• • Stick weld
  • Dig footings using various methods
  • Use hand and power tools
  • Operate cranes, lifts and other installation equipment

Other bonus qualities that would be welcomed:

• 2 years of sign industry experience or similar work install or service work
• Crane certification
• Welding certification

Hourly wage is based upon experience and qualifications.
