Facilities Shift Supervisor

Job Description

Ensures that the physical property is in pristine condition and all equipment and facilities maintenance systems are in good working order during the course of their assigned shift. Ensures adherence to all Parx Casino service and operating standards. Ensures compliance will all federal, state and local regulations relevant to maintenance and facility operations.

• Supervises the overall maintenance, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and other facility maintenance work in the building and surrounding grounds to include preventive, routine and emergency programs.
• Inspects work projects for quality control, safety, and adherence to job specifications and blue prints.
• Ensures that facilities personnel are performing their tasks as assigned.
• Coordinates efforts of contractor personnel as directed.
• Prepares necessary purchasing requests to ensure appropriate departmental operating supply inventory.
• Supervises all areas of responsibility effectively within budgetary guidelines by monitoring and controlling operational and payroll costs.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
