- Part of the core team responsible for effectively managing the Sportsbook offering. Working with the retail and online sports offerings, completing analysis and problem solving in a fast paced environment making decisions on a daily basis supporting the risk and trading team.
- Responsible for the day to day 'back of house' Sportsbook operations.
- Working closely with third party suppliers to deliver a targeted and relevant sportsbook product that is specific to the customer base.
- Effectively manage risk by reviewing betting limits and profiling and managing the customer base.
- Making recommendations to improve the product offering by developing new betting opportunities internally or working with external suppliers.
- Ensure sportsbook performance is in line with company targets.
- Investigate and analyze market trends in order to obtain an insight to assist in the prediction of customer betting patterns.
- Manage sportsbook related content across all platforms.
- Performs all other assigned duties.
Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing, 1-year experience on a risk and trading team.
- Deep understanding of Sportsbook product and a passion and knowledge of U.S. sports.
- Excellent communication, organizational, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate to all levels of the organization.
- Ability to negotiate and work collaboratively and creatively with partners.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, advanced Excel and Power Point skills a must. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Must be able to work all shifts, and weekends/holidays as required. Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and through written communications.
- Must be knowledgeable of all federal, state and local laws and regulations relevant to operations.
