Responsibilities
- Perform patient evaluations and develop individual treatment plans
- Educate patients and families on appropriate care methods and techniques
- Utilize adaptive equipment to assist with patient's independence in daily activities
- Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Participate in continuing education to expand knowledge and expertise in the field
- Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active license to practice in Florida
- At least 1 year of experience in home health care or relevant field
- Ability to work independently and effectively with patients and their families
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of current Occupational Therapy techniques and practices
