Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Estimator to join our team on-site in Atlanta, GA. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, and developing accurate project budgets. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing plans and specifications, conducting site visits, obtaining and scrutinizing subcontractor quotes, and collaborating with project managers and clients to ensure project goals are met. The Estimator will play an essential role in ensuring project proposals are competitive and align with client expectations.
Qualifications
- Experience in preparing detailed cost estimates, cost analysis, and project budgeting
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications
- Ability to conduct thorough site visits and obtain accurate subcontractor quotes
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders
- Proficiency in estimating software including Bluebeam and On Screen Takeoff
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience in commercial construction estimating is highly beneficial
