About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled Logistics and Distribution Expert to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for optimizing logistics and distribution processes to enhance schedule performance, lower costs, and improve quality within our high-volume automotive distribution and logistics environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in labor management and experience working in high-volume automotive manufacturing or warehousing environments. You'll have the ability to analyze complex supply chain networks and implement process improvements using data-driven insights.
You'll work closely with our cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes that drive efficiency and cost savings. Your strong communication and influencing skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with both hourly staff and senior managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize logistics and distribution processes to enhance schedule performance, lower costs, and improve quality.
- Develop and implement data-driven strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes that drive efficiency and cost savings.
- Lead projects to improve supply chain resilience and agility.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Four-Year College Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, or equivalent.
- A minimum of five years of experience working in high-volume automotive manufacturing or warehousing environments.
- Labor management background/experience required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
