Primary Purpose :

Responsible for a wide range of activities and a broad spectrum of technology. Including but not limited to servers / workstations, Windows / Linux / Mac operating systems, LAN / WAN and telephony hardware. These activities will include the troubleshooting and resolution of highly complex network, server and application issues, working with internal organizations and coworkers on product wide issues as well as product readiness projects. Will directly interact with PISD staff on high visibility and complex technical issues. Qualifications :

Education / Certification :

• Bachelor's, Associates, or Technical degree
• Or at least four documented years related experience
• Or documented equivalent combination of education and experience
• Have a valid Texas Driver's License and maintain insurance requirements of PISD
• Must pass drug test and physical and be part of a random drug testing program. Must pass criminal history check

Ability to communicate effectively (verbal); maintain emotional control under stress; interpret policy, procedures, and data; coordinate district functions

Physical Demands / Environmental Factors :

Must be able to lift 50 lbs., be able to work on at least 14' ladder and man lift up to 30 ft.

Frequent prolonged and irregular hours; Operate Motor vehicle; Repetitive hand motions; prolonged use of computer; steady phone interactions; moderate standing, walking, and bending

Possible afterhours or weekend work when required
