Job Summary
Assists teachers in a variety of care-taking, instructional and classroom activities involving handicapped children in need of special education; performs work of a routine clerical nature as required.

This is a substitute position and incumbent shall be offered hours on an on call, as needed basis at various school sites.
Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION : Must possess a secondary (i.e., high school) school diploma, or its equivalent (GED).
Applicants who have the required experience and upload their awarded HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA or GED shall be invited to take a written exam.
Applicants who have the required experience and upload their awarded Associates (AA) or higher shall be exempt from taking the written exam.
EXPERIENCE : Recent paid or volunteer experience involving organized activities with children is required.
