We are seeking an experienced Assistant Teacher to join our team at Pascagoula-Gautier School District. As an Education Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting our students and staff in achieving academic success.
Responsibilities:
• Assist teachers with instructional planning, preparation, and implementation
• Provide individualized support to students in reading/language arts and mathematics
• Maintain accurate records and reports as required
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective instructional strategies
Requirements:
• Must possess an Associate's Degree or higher; or have at least 48 hours of earned college credit; or provide passing scores for the Work Keys test (Silver Certificate)
• Proficiency in skills of reading, writing, and mathematics
• Demonstrated interest in and a positive attitude toward the duties and responsibilities of an instructional assistant
• Must pass a criminal background check as prescribed by state statute
