JOIN OUR TEAM AS A PROJECT COORDINATOR I - CASE AIDE!
This position provides direct administrative support to the Senior Services Case Management Team. Responsible and advanced clerical and public contact work in obtaining, maintaining, and providing information regarding a variety of County operations and established laws, rules and regulations governing several programs. Provides a professional and courteous response via telephone, in person, in writing and on-line. Much of the work is performed independently, subject to review by a Case Manager, Lead Case Aide, or division leadership. This is a grant funded position. Provides administrative and clerical support to the Senior Services lead agency team. Assists with processing authorizations and resolving service delivery problems as needed at the direction of the Senior Services Case Manager. Assists with evaluating client eligibility for programs, including assistance with Medicaid eligibility, when appropriate. Assists with evaluating client eligibility for programs, including assistance with Medicaid eligibility, when appropriate. Completes and submits accurate and timely documentation, including but not limited to maintaining client records. Assists with internal file monitoring and records support. Completes required service reports as needed. Communicates with potential clients for evaluation of services and provide appropriate referrals as needed.Assists citizens with inquiries in person, online, or by phone. Performs related work as required. Upon Emergency Operations Center activation, employees must be prepared to work additional hours and job duties.

PHYSICAL SKILLS: Ability to communicate effectively using verbal, written and visual communication.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate degree OR possession of high school diploma or an acceptable equivalency diploma and two (2) years of secretarial/clerical and typing experience.

LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS OR REGISTRATIONS: Must possess a valid Florida driver's license.
