The Technical Analyst II works under supervision of the Director of Technology Services providing essential technology support for our fast-paced, growing team. Growth and advancement are available when adaptability, proficiency and contribution to the success of the team are displayed.
•Installs and maintains servers, networking equipment, and related IT infrastructure assets.The Technical Analyst II works under supervision of the Director of Technology Services providing essential technology support for our fast-paced, growing team. •Assists in the recommendation and planning of IT infrastructure projects.
•Opens, troubleshoots, and escalates tickets using a service desk tool.
•Deploys security updates and verifies compliance with information security policies.
•Maintains and verifies compliance with backup and recovery policies.
•Supports database administrative functions such as monitoring data base performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing database changes.
•Assists in maintaining compliance with security policies and procedures.
•Builds sustainable relationships and trust with stakeholders through prompt, courteous and interactive communication.
•Creates and maintains documentation of IT infrastructure and related systems.
•Performs related work as required.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, including security best practices, risk assessment and incident response.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent writing, communication and organizational skills.
PHYSICAL SKILLS: Requires sitting for extended periods. Ability to communicate effectively using verbal, written, and visual communication.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree in an Information Technology related field from an accredited college or university, or ability to obtain one within 6 months of employment. Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows Server and Linux operating systems. Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Active Directory environments. Experience with virtualization technologies (VMWare, Hyper-V, Nutanix, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
•Microsoft Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate or equivalent certification.
•Experience performing database administrative functions.
•CompTIA Network and Security certification
