JOB ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR

Open: January 14, 2025         Close:  January 21, 2025 or until filled

POSITION:          Head Boys Track Coach Pasco High - Temporary- 1 year

                            Pasco High School 

SCHEDULE:            2024 - 2025 Season (February 24, 2025)

SALARY:                Based on the 2024-2025 Coaching Salary Schedule

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: (Qualifications which are essential to the position)

• Current First Aid/CPR card or willing to obtain 
• Ability to meet WIAA coaching requirements and follow all WIAA and district guidelines
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous head coach experience at high school or collegiate level or five (5) years a an assistant track and field coach
• Ability to mentor coaches in  program (9-12)
• Direct all phase of program (9-12)
• Strong organizational and communicative skills
• Coordinate out of season camp and clinics
• District training regarding concussion management or ability and willingness to attend training
• Other required district training or ability and willingness to attend training
• Must include at least 2 letters of reference with letter of interest and completed application along with sample practice plans

DESIRED: (Qualifications which are not required, but would be useful to the position)

• Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate
• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree
