POSITION : Records Manager
Booth Building
Non-Represented; Non-Exempt / Exempt (based on starting salary)
EFFECTIVE DATE : Immediately
SALARY : $72,364 - $85,946 (Based on the 2024-2025 salary schedule)
SCHEDULE : 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday
260-day work year
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED :
- AA degree, BA preferred, or a combination of related training, education or experience may be substituted for degree
- Minimum of three (3) years successful human resources or payroll experience
- Training or experience with public sector human resources procedures and functions
- Experience managing confidential records in human resources and / or payroll software systems
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment to organize, set priorities, and coordinate activities
- Demonstrated exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated experience handling employee problems, concerns and / or grievances and with sensitivity, tact, and professionalism
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure with frequent interruptions, while maintaining a positive and appropriate demeanor
- Ability to establish and maintain effective, positive working relationships with staff, and the public
- Demonstrated punctuality and an excellent work attendance record
- Experience in managing complex data and reports; basic mathematical and computational skills
- Demonstrated exceptional proficiency, speed, and accuracy in the use of software or database systems, including Excel and Word
The current concentration for this assignment is on classified records. The position will cross-train on certificated and administrative records.
