What are the responsibilities and job description for the DEPUTY PATROL TRAINEE position at Pasco Sheriff's Office?
A visible law enforcement trainee position responsible for receiving training and demonstrating proficiency in the basic requirements of the assigned discipline in order to meet the standards of CJSTC certification. During non-instructional time or Academy closure, members may be assigned ancillary tasks within the scope of their ability to aid the overall mission of the Pasco Sheriff’s Office.
High School Equivalent (Diploma/General Equivalency Diploma) required. AA/BA Degree from an accredited college preferred. Bilingual helpful for this position. This position must maintain a Valid Florida Driver’s License at all times. Unescorted CJIS clearance as authorized by FDLE is required.
Ability to use force, willingness to use necessary force (including deadly force), ability to hear conversation at a normal level (assisted/unassisted), vision correctable to 20/30 in each eye, ability to perceive and differentiate normal colors, must be capable of performing the physical standards set in G.O. 22.3.
