Crew Leader / Driver in Erosion Control

CREW LEADER RESPONSIBILITIES
· Supervise and drive a crew of 4-6 installers to various job sites throughout the day.
· Meet with construction superintendents on the job site.
· Inspect and review projects to ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.
· Complete necessary paperwork daily.
· Promote high standards for customer service, develop a safety culture, and create a positive team environment.
· Take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction sites.
· Take responsibility for the crew, their actions, and results.
· Responsible for sweeping, digging, blowing, hammering and other general duties as needed to complete the job. Install a variety of erosion control products including silt fence, erosion logs, soil retention blanket, etc.
· Responsible for reading the daily work orders.
CREW LEADER QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
· 1-2 years experience in erosion control, storm water management, Landscaping or similar industry required
· Ability to balance quality workmanship with timely completion.
· Ability to comprehend instructions, reports, correspondence, plates, and development plans.
· Ability to organize, coordinate, manage time effectively, and problem solve.
· Must be physically able to safely lift to 50 pounds without assistance.
· Valid driver's license with clean driving record
· Ability to speak, read, and write English and Spanish language.
· Ability to pass a drug test.

· Monday – Friday (occasional Saturday)
· 8–10 hour shifts
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
